Construction & Design Project Manager

Maxwell is looking for a project manager to lead our design build efforts in our existing property in Tribeca and a new property we are acquiring. Responsibilities will include . . .

• Coordinate interior design of new Maxwell spaces alongside Maxwell founding team
• Coordinate house improvement projects, building additional back bars, storage space, curtains, AV capability expansion, installation of noise proofing, additional ice machines and more.
• Hire & manage CAD drafters who can draft floor plans and product specs.
• Coordinate space upgrades to operations & user experience -- figure out why that corner banquet dining table isn't being used and switch them to individual bistro tables, optimize on customer flow, etc.
• Source and manage subcontractors to manage projects in the space.
• Close sponsored interior design partnerships with everyone from fabric and furniture to tableware sponsors.
• Launch furniture and lighting lines, source manufacturers and design products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years working in the construction industry.
• Willingness to engage in everything from sales to project management to negotiation to design iteration.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where quick thinking and flexibility are essential.
