What You'll Do:

As a DevOps Engineer Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our technical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Google Cloud & Firebase Operations: Assist in managing and optimizing our backend services hosted on Firebase Cloud Functions and other Google Cloud Platform services.
• API Microservices Support: Gain experience with API endpoints for processing user input, managing preferences, and integrating with AI models.
• CI/CD Pipeline Assistance: Support the establishment and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of backend functions and APIs, collaborating closely with the Backend and React Conversion Teams.
• Infrastructure Monitoring: Learn and assist in basic usage tracking and monitoring of our infrastructure.
• Scalability & Robustness: Contribute to ensuring the server-side infrastructure is robust and performant.
• Security Practices: Understand and support secure handling and storage of user-provided information.
• Documentation: Help in documenting infrastructure configurations and deployment processes.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Proficient or Eager to Learn Google Cloud/Firebase: Has a strong foundational understanding or a significant interest in Google Cloud Platform services, especially Firebase.
• Understands API Microservices: Familiarity with the concepts of API design and microservices architecture.
• CI/CD Concepts: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment principles.
