Data Scientist

At fedger, we are building an AI-powered knowledge engine around entities in the hospitality industry. This engine represents a dynamic network structure, comprising entities like locations, restaurants, guest feedback, menu cards, dishes, recipes, ingredients and much more.

Leveraging this data in the right way will differentiate fedger analytics products and make it the leading hospitality analytics information provider on the planet. That’s where you come in.

Following the demand from the market to provide deep analytics within this space, we'll strengthen our team as Data Scientist.

You will work closely with the team across Product and Engineering to drive product decisions using data. We'll harness the intelligence acquired from your insights to create more personalized and relevant information services for our customer.


*WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU*

1-3+ years in a Machine Learning/Advanced Analytics environment pushing production-level code.

Knowledge of SQL, Python, R (or similar language).

Familiarity with Machine Learning/Advanced Analytics techniques such as regression, classification, clustering and time series.

Strong communicator - you can break down high level technical concepts for anyone to digest.

Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.

Startup mentality - you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, dig into the code, and implement your ideas.

Bonus: B.S. or other degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or other technical field.
