Tech Lead – Cloud SaaS + AI/ML Modernization

We're looking for a Tech Lead to own the architecture and technical leadership of our next-generation airline catering platform. You'll help us evolve from a legacy Apple Claris-FileMaker-based environment (v3) to a fully serverless, cloud-native SaaS ecosystem (v4) while integrating powerful AI and machine learning capabilities into every layer of the product.

This is a high-impact role—ideal for someone who thrives on full-system transformation, values clean architecture, and wants to build intelligent tools used by airlines and caterers worldwide.

✅ What You'll Own

• Architect and lead development of our modern, serverless v4 platform
• Oversee migration of core functionality from Claris-FileMaker to a cloud-native stack
• Design and integrate AI/ML features that improve prediction, automation, and user experience
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define and deliver roadmap priorities
• Review code, mentor engineers, and set high standards for technical execution

🧩 Tech Environment

• Legacy (v3): FileMaker Pro (hosted on AWS), WebDirect, embedded ML models, snapshot backups

• Target Stack (v4):

  • Cloud: AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Cognito
  • Frontend: TypeScript + React
  • Infra & CI/CD: AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, IaC best practices
  • AI/ML: Python-based ML pipelines, AWS SageMaker, embedded ML models (forecasting, anomaly detection, logistics optimization)
  • Monitoring: AppDynamics

🛠 What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Proven leadership in migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures
• Strong backend expertise with TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design
• Solid experience with AWS serverless services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
• Exposure to ML model development, MLOps pipelines, or AI/ML feature integration in production
• Comfort working with React or equivalent modern frontend frameworks
• Experience working with or replacing no-code/low-code platforms like Claris-FileMaker
• High technical ownership and strong communication skills

• Experience with AWS SageMaker, TensorFlow, or embedded ML inference
• Understanding of observability, logging, and real-time alerting for mission-critical systems
• Domain exposure to aviation, logistics, or regulated enterprise software
