Mobile Developer Intern (React Native / Expo)

Heather AI is looking for a Mobile Developer intern to build and improve our healthcare mobile application using React Native and Expo.

This is an unpaid internship, meant to help developers gain valuable industry experience

Responsibilities

Build and maintain high-quality mobile features with React Native and Expo.
Integrate APIs, authentication, notifications, and backend services.
Ensure strong performance, reliability, and a great user experience.
Debug issues and contribute to testing and app releases on iOS and Android.
Collaborate with the founding/engineering team to turn product ideas into production features.

Requirements

Strong experience with React Native and Expo.
Good knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations.
Familiarity with Git and mobile app deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus: Experience with healthcare applications, Supabase, biometric authentication, or Expo EAS.
