Snowflake developer intern

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Snowflake Developer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in building scalable, efficient, and high-performing data solutions using Snowflake.

Role Overview:
As a Snowflake Developer Intern, you will work closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes within Snowflake. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the cloud data ecosystem, while learning best practices and contributing to the development of enterprise-grade data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing Snowflake data models and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with senior developers to integrate data sources and build data transformation processes.
• Work with the team to ensure efficient and scalable data solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Write SQL queries and scripts to optimize data retrieval, transformation, and storage within Snowflake.
• Participate in data validation and testing activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues in the Snowflake environment.
• Assist in creating technical documentation for Snowflake projects and processes.
• Learn about best practices for data security, governance, and compliance in a Snowflake environment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall data architecture.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Basic understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-based data storage solutions.
Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools in the data engineering and cloud space.
