Backend Developer Internship

We are looking for passionate and driven Backend Developer Interns to join our tech team at Truflect. This role is ideal for candidates who want real-world startup experience, are comfortable working in early-stage environments, and are motivated by learning and impact rather than short-term compensation.

• The first 2 months are unpaid
• Minimum internship duration: 3 months
• A stipend may be offered later based on performance and contribution, subject to company capacity
• There is no guaranteed compensation at the start

Truflect is building a platform focused on Product Insight and Personalized Health. Our application helps users make informed food choices by scanning product barcodes or labels to understand ingredients, nutrition, allergens, and health suitability.

With lifestyle-related health issues rising rapidly in India, Truflect aims to bring clarity, transparency, and trust to everyday food decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in the entire backend application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Debug and optimize existing systems
• Work closely with frontend and product teams
• Learn how real-world products are built, shipped, and improved

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Skills
  • Django
  • GraphQL
  • SaaS-based architectures
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Bonus (not mandatory)
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST APIs
  • WebSockets

Internship Terms (Clear & Transparent)

• Internship role (not full-time employment)
• First 2 months unpaid
• Minimum commitment: 3 months
• Stipend is performance-based and discretionary
