The SDR Enablement Manager is accountable for developing and executing enablement programs that empower SDRs to achieve their full potential, thus having a direct impact on revenue generation and growth. This role will focus on creating training programs, building sales playbooks, enhancing workflows, and providing SDRs with the tools, resources, and insights they need to excel. Working closely with sales leadership, sales operations, and marketing, the SDR Enablement Manager will drive SDR effectiveness by improving onboarding, creating a scalable training and coaching motion and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall sales strategy.

This is an IC position and reports to the Head of Sales Enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

SDR Training and Development:

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new SDRs, ensuring they quickly ramp up to full productivity.

  • Improve our current continuous training offering (both instructor-led and on-demand) focused on key qualification like prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, objection handling, and qualification, tailored to different SDR profiles and tenures. This includes delivery/facilitation of sessions and workshops.

  • Collaborate in the organisation and facilitation of main SDR Events: SDR get-togethers, Annual Kick-Off.

Sales Playbook Development:

  • Develop and maintain an SDR sales playbooks that outlines best practices, scripts, workflows, and resources for all stages of the sales funnel.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to adapt playbooks as market conditions, product offerings, and buyer personas evolve.

Performance Analytics & Reporting:

  • Assess SDR performance metrics to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Provide regular reports to leadership on SDR performance and enablement program effectiveness.

Sales Tools and Technology:

  • Ensure SDRs are fully equipped and proficient with the necessary tools (e.g., CRM, Sales Engagement Platforms, Data Enrichment Tools).

  • Work with sales operations to streamline tool usage and workflows.

Content & Collateral Development:

  • Collaborate with marketing to create and distribute relevant sales enablement content (e.g., email templates, call scripts, case studies, etc).

  • Ensure SDRs have access to up-to-date product information, competitive insights, and customer success stories.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product marketing and product teams to ensure SDRs are knowledgeable about the product roadmap, new features, and key differentiators.

  • Partner with marketing to align on lead generation campaigns, ideal customer profiles (ICP), and buyer personas.

Coaching and Mentorship:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching to SDRs, focusing on both tactical (e.g., cold outreach) and strategic skills (e.g., account-based sales development for enterprise SDRs).

  • Develop a continuous feedback loop to help SDRs improve their outreach and increase conversion rates.

Market and Competitor Insights:

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to arm SDRs with up-to-date Competitive knowledge and positioning.

  • Train SDRs to effectively communicate the value proposition in relation to competitors and customer pain points.

Your Profile

  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or sales management, preferably within a SaaS company. Ideally you held a SDR position and are familiar with problems, workflows and tools for this role.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of B2B SaaS sales processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Leadership Experiences: Demonstrated aptitude to drive cross-functional initiatives and train/coach high-performing SDR teams.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, with the knowledge of how to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable plans.

  • Analytical Skills: Experience in using data to drive decisions and improve performance; experience with CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Groove, etc.).

  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with marketing, product, and sales teams, with a hands-on approach.

  • Languages: Fluency in both English and German

Bonus points for

  • Experience working in a high-growth or scaling SaaS company.

  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms (e.g., Groove, Highspot, Seismic).

  • Available to regularly work from our Cologne office and to travel to regularly travel to our other European offices (Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin)
