What We Are Looking For:
The Manager, Field Marketing and Account Based Marketing (ABM) leader will lead a small team of marketers focused on growing our new logo and customer base in our international market. They will have responsibility for planning, organizing and executing campaigns, identifying and creating plans to engage and grow target prospects. This individual will take on a strong player/coach role, leading and developing a small team of marketers while owning the ABM portion of the work, working alongside our strategic sales team to further penetrate and find growth within our most important accounts. They will be responsible for managing overall strategy, approach, and processes as it relates to their team.
What You'll Do:
- Sets the marketing and ABM program strategy and develops the approach, priorities, success metrics and campaign architecture that will build and advance pipeline for their aligned sales organization
- Lead a small Field Marketing team and nurture their careers, setting them up for further growth within the organization, and providing guidance to employees on goals, expectations and overall performance
- Create scalable, impactful campaigns and playbooks resulting in customer upsell, cross-sell, and customer retention.
- Work closely and in tandem with the digital and demand gen ABM team to develop and implement account based technology, reporting and measurement strategies
- Use ABM technology such as 6Sense. website personalization tools, content syndication, Outreach, Highspot, and other tools to create cohesive, integrated ABM campaigns that are held to high conversion standards.
- Meet and beat KPIs around funnel creation, meetings, and touchpoints with target accounts. Be a vocal leader about what metrics matter most to your team, and develop a plan to achieve.
- Partner with sales leadership to understand overall goals for the team and create custom plans designed to achieve those objectives; adjusting course as needed in response to changing conditions
- Own a process for targeting an account to receive email/personal nurture, ad dollars, gifts, an incentive, etc. aligning with sales leadership and marketing operations at every step.
- Serve as a central point of contact and advisor to your dedicated sales team, ensuring they have what they need to be successful in advancing deals, including custom collateral, programmatic and/or custom gifting, adhoc business meeting/event support, and custom outreach methods
- Work closely with members of the greater marketing team (product marketing, creative services, demand gen, and integrated marketing) to activate elements of the Field Marketing and ABM plans that you develop
- Attend customer and prospect meetings to stay informed on market conditions and buyer personas
What You Need:
- Bachelors degree
- 7+ years experience in a similar marketing role for a fast-growing B2B technology company (ideally software).
- People management experience is required.
- Deep knowledge of the marketing funnel; experience running multi-channel marketing programs (advertising, email, events, direct mail); content marketing and social media experience.
- Comfortable working with a lot of different marketing tools/software
- Team building, prioritization and delegation skills.
- Public speaking experience and project coordination skills needed.
Bonus Points:
- Marketing automation experience preferred.
- Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel. 6Sense, Outreach, Marketo and Salesforce experience preferred.
- Experience with relevant ABM tools and methods is a plus!
