About the role
As the Regional Account Manager across multiple countries, you will oversee regional commercial strategy, workforce productivity, and the growth of merchant partnerships.
You’ll ensure seamless execution of initiatives, remove roadblocks, and manage a diverse portfolio of markets to deliver outstanding merchant success and business performance.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Build and Lead Top Teams: Develop high-performing Account Management teams across multiple countries by partnering with recruitment, coaching team leads, and mentoring Account Managers to excel and grow their careers
- Drive Strategic Growth: Own and tailor the go-to-market strategy for your region, ensuring effective portfolio management, market segmentation, and alignment with global initiatives to address local market needs
- Maximise Merchant Success: Craft retention strategies to minimise churn, empower teams to drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, and negotiate impactful partnerships with prominent global merchants
- Foster Innovation: Identify untapped opportunities, spearhead entrepreneurial projects, and execute innovative initiatives to accelerate growth and deliver exceptional value
- Optimise Performance Metrics: Set ambitious KPIs, track and monitor team performance, and provide actionable insights and updates to leadership to ensure consistent overachievement
- Streamline Operations: Eliminate inefficiencies by resolving process and workflow barriers, enhancing workforce productivity, and ensuring teams operate at peak efficiency
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management or managing Account Management teams, preferably in a global or regional environment
- Proven ability to deliver results through driving revenue growth, improving retention, and optimising performance metrics
- Experience in managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across markets
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align central and local priorities
- Expertise in setting and managing KPIs, as well as utilising data insights to drive decision-making and team performance
- Strong revenue operations experience, with significant focus on cross-selling, upselling and driving clients to grow their business
