Our Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in ensuring we continue to bring top talent to Preply to support our growth. We focus on building strong, meaningful connections with candidates, stakeholders, and hiring managers, while leveraging data to make informed and impactful hiring decisions. We are committed to continuously raising the bar on the talent we bring into Preply, as well as refining our processes and ways of working to create an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on managing engineering hiring, ensuring we continue to bring in top talent. The role is based in our Kyiv hub with an immediate start date.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in scaling our Engineering teams, with a special focus on growing our AI and Machine Learning capabilities. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and the TA team to attract world-class talent, optimize hiring processes, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process for Engineering roles, focusing on identifying and hiring top tech talent at scale.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to deeply understand their needs, offer strategic advice, and deliver hiring excellence.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Leverage advanced sourcing strategies to engage passive talent, using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and innovative outreach methods.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Analyze recruitment data and metrics to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve our recruitment processes to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Market Expertise: Stay updated on tech industry trends, with a focus on advancements in AI/ML, to advise on recruitment strategies and attract niche talent.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with our Employer Branding team to enhance our visibility and attractiveness to top engineering and AI/ML talent.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience: 4+ years of technical recruitment experience, ideally in high-growth or scaling tech environments.
  • Technical Expertise: understanding of Engineering roles, including AI/ML technologies, and experience hiring for AI-focused teams is highly preferred.
  • Process Improvement: ability to optimize recruitment processes and implement scalable solutions.
  • Data-Driven: Familiarity with using metrics and analytics to measure recruitment success and inform strategies
  • Stakeholder Management: great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Proactivity: self-starter mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for People: commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for both candidates and internal teams.
