Senior Software Engineer (Front-End Focus)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development to shape the future of our front-end architecture and tech stack. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building responsive and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with our design and back-end teams to deliver seamless and visually stunning user experiences.

As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll become the guide of our growing team at Luxury Presence, as we build technology that will power the Real Estate industry for years to come..

  • Can architect user-friendly, flexible, and highly scalable front-end platforms
  • Know JavaScript inside and out
  • Have a great eye for design

You will:

  • Join the company at the beginning of significant scaling
  • Work with a team of smart and highly talented engineers
  • Lead the development of front-end architecture for the next generation of web application products
  • Drive product and feature ideas
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning, to writing code, to deployment

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with web application frameworks such as NodeJS, React, Angular, Next or similar. GraphQL experience is a plus!
  • Proven ability to design and build distributed, highly scalable, and robust UIs and platforms
  • Hands on experience building front-end platforms that integrate with RESTful and/or GraphQL back-ends
  • Experience with data-driven architecture and systems design, RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
  • Proficient in optimizing web applications for performance and scalability.
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Solid experience working with major databases such as MongoDB and Postgres
  • Strong command of HTML and CSS
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) model, including Github and CI pipeline automation tools
  • Experience with AWS (both running workloads and use of AWS services)
  • Sharp programming skills and strong end-to-end development experience
  • Keen sense of UI/UX
  • Strong grasp of software design, architectural patterns, and effective development methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in collaborative team environments.

Pluses:

  • Experience building front-end platforms for real estate and / or marketing products
  • Working with offshore teams
  • Social media APIs and 3rd party integrations
  • Hands on experience with server side languages (e.g. Java, Ruby, Kotlin)
