Position Summary & Objective

The role of a Maintenance Supervisor involves managing daily maintenance schedules and supervising a team of technicians to ensure that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and effectively. This position supports and guides methods and processes for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, focusing on minimizing downtime and optimizing the performance of machinery and systems. The Maintenance Supervisor also ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations, coordinates with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within

the organization.

We are looking for:

Essential:

Previous Electrical/Mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing background
Experience of PLC programming and interrogation on Siemens S7/S5 and Allen Bradley, Siemens, Yaskawa, Omron and Control Techniques drive systems.
Possession of 18th edition wiring regulations certificate
Experience of load cell tension control
Experience of working with three phase/single phase circuits and intrinsically safe circuits
Work at heights using access equipment.
Must hold at least ONC qualification in an appropriate discipline.
Desirable:

Ideally HNC qualified
Possession of Health & Safety qualification i.e. IOSH would be advantageous.
Possession of a Compex (DSEAR) qualification would be advantageous.
Possession of a full current UK driving licence would be preferable although not essential.
