API Developer(Node.js)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled API Developer with strong experience in Node.js to design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in backend development, a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, and preferably experience with front-end technologies, especially React.js.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end and other backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in API development.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, improving performance and security.
• Document code and APIs for seamless knowledge transfer and team collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in API development and backend frameworks.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with database management (SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, etc.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good to have: Experience with React.js or other modern front-end frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience of 3 to 4 years working with full-stack development (Node.js + React.js).
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) for API deployment.
Experience with unit and integration testing for APIs (Jest).
