Senior Technical Business Analyst

Join our Health Intelligence Platform team as a Senior Technical Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in the development of our next generation data platform. This cutting-edge platform receives, processes, stores and serves health-related data to empower healthcare professionals to make best possible decisions at point of care. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of an innovative project, working closely with our customers’ implementation teams to ensure seamless integration and acting as the glue that holds it all together. Plus, this role offers the potential to grow into a leadership capacity as we continue to expand.

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will:

• Analyse diverse health data – including HL7 and FHIR messages, Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs), batch files, videos, and genomic data – to ensure our platform processes, stores, and serves it effectively.
• Define data processing and storage – specifying mappings to our canonical Information Model and identifying any required business logic.
• Collaborate with engineers – working closely to confirm accurate data processing and storage through an iterative and highly collaborative process.
• Create exceptional documentation – ensuring developers, testers, implementation teams, and customers have complete clarity on data handling processes.
• Engage with customers – working directly with their implementation teams to support seamless integration and act as a trusted advisor throughout the process.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience: Exposure to how data is processed, stored, and accessed. You may have been a developer, tester, or business analyst. Experience in the health industry is a bonus but not essential.
• Skills: A highly analytical mindset, equally capable of abstract thinking and diving into the details.
• Characteristics: A natural “information detective” with a passion for doing things the right way. You take pride in clarity and precision and have excellent communication and business acumen.
• Education: A tertiary qualification in a field requiring logical reasoning, such as engineering, science, or law.
