How you’ll spend your time here:

1. Work with Cohesity customers to provide a timely resolution to technical support Cohesity’s NoSQL/Helios solution.
2. Work closely with Cohesity’s R&D and account management teams.
3. Manage workload to ensure that all customer issues are resolved promptly
4. Deep dive into analyzing, troubleshooting, and fixing functional and Performance issues, with rapid delivery of the solution.
5. Perform in-depth root cause analysis, deploy code fixes, and perform upgrades to resolve customer issues.
6. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles.
7. Write code to resolve bugs, and write small enhancements, productivity improvement tools, and features.

We’d love to talk with you - if you have the majority of the following:

• Having worked/supported NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
• Good understanding of NoSQL concepts/features, especially in the backup & restore area.
• Good understanding and experience using NoSQL debugging techniques and utilities.
• Ability to analyze system diagnostics and clearly articulate the issue for the customer.
• Experience supporting storage, networking, and virtualization environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux and administration experience across all working components

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of Storage, Filesystems, or Data Protection
• Experience supporting distributed file system
• Performance analysis experience

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of work experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Javascript (Angular or React).
• Ability to read, navigate, and debug code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Motivated to debug and solve complex problems and challenges.
• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering/Computer Science

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
