Role Overview
As a Technical Recruiter at VStream Labs Inc., you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional technical talent. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and team leads to understand hiring needs, develop strategic recruitment plans, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Source, engage, and build relationships with candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, job boards, and referral networks.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Recruitment Process Management
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and success profiles for technical positions. Candidate Assessment
- Conduct initial screenings to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and candidate expectations.
- Partner with technical teams to evaluate candidates through coding tests, technical interviews, and portfolio reviews. Employer Branding
- Champion VStream Labs’ employer brand by promoting the company’s culture, mission, and values in all candidate interactions.
- Represent the company at career fairs, tech meetups, and other networking events. Data-Driven Recruitment
- Track recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and source-of-hire, to refine processes.
- Use analytics to provide insights and recommendations to improve hiring strategies. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter in an in-house or agency setting.
- Strong knowledge of technical roles and terminologies, including programming languages, frameworks, and software development life cycles.
- Expertise in sourcing strategies, including Boolean search and creative candidate outreach.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with coding assessment platforms like HackerRank, Codility, or LeetCode.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
