Position Summary:

NextLink Labs is seeking a motivated Part-Time Hubspot Web Developer to join our team as a 1099 contractor, expected to work 10-20 hours per week. A successful person in this role will excel at translating design concepts into functional, high-quality HubSpot modules and pages that are easy to update, visually engaging, and optimized for performance, accessibility, and user experience across all devices.

This contractor role focuses on developing reusable modules, converting Figma designs into high-quality HubSpot pages, and ensuring all components meet coding, performance, and SEO standards. Using HubSpot's Design Manager, the developer will create adaptable modules that non-technical users can easily update. This position requires attention to detail, quality, and thorough testing for seamless cross-browser and device compatibility.

As a Part-Time Hubspot Web Developer, you can expect to:

• Develop modular and reusable HubSpot templates, including custom modules, leveraging HubSpot’s Design Manager tools.

• Ensure modules are built to be adaptable, allowing for easy updates or edits by non-technical users.

• Design modules that comply with HubSpot’s CMS Hub best practices, emphasizing responsiveness, scalability, and flexibility.

• Convert Figma designs into HubSpot-compatible pages, ensuring alignment with the design specifications and user experience objectives.

• Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement dynamic and interactive components as outlined in the Figma designs.

• Implement responsive design best practices to ensure the site performs seamlessly across all devices and browsers.

• Adhere to web development best practices, particularly with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Optimize for performance, loading speed, and SEO, ensuring that each page meets high standards of accessibility and usability.

• Conduct thorough testing of all modules and pages across various browsers and devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any functionality, performance, or design issues.

Excellent candidates will have most or all of the following skills:

• 3+ years of experience in web development, with direct experience with HubSpot CMS and custom module creation

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute from day one

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Strong experience converting Figma designs into functional, visually precise HubSpot pages

• Knowledge of web development best practices, including performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility

• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 standards, ensuring clean, modular, and reusable code

• Proactive communication skills, with a commitment to updating stakeholders on progress, and the ability to flag any potential delays early

• Experience adhering to deliverable schedules and maintaining accountability for on-track or off-track status with objectives

• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues on various devices and browsers

• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders

Compensation range: $9 - $12/hr
