About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys working on both backend (Ruby on Rails) and frontend (TailwindCSS, Hotwire, StimulusJS), blending technical excellence with creating outstanding user experiences. You’ll work closely with a talented, product-driven team to create and deliver features that raise the bar for the real estate industry.

Responsibilities

1. Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested Ruby on Rails code.
2. Build scalable backend systems with a focus on performance and maintainability.
3. Develop elegant, functional, and visually appealing frontend components using TailwindCSS, Hotwire and StimulusJS.
4. Collaborate closely with the CTO and product team to deliver features on time and to specification.
5. Ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
6. Continuously optimize application performance and scalability.
7. Contribute to the ideation and execution of new features, keeping the platform innovative and user-friendly.

Key Qualifications

1. Based in the US (East Coast) or Western EU.
2. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
3. 8+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development, building scalable, reliable backend systems.
4. 4+ years of experience building elegant and functional frontends using TailwindCSS, Hotwire and StimulusJS.
5. Proven experience building products from the ground up in startups or other dynamic, fast-paced environments.
6. Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
7. Extensive expertise with developer tools like Git, GitHub, Postgres, Redis, Bash, and Docker.
8. Experience working in remote teams and managing tasks across different time zones.
9. A product-first mindset with a strong focus on delivering exceptional UI/UX.
10. Bonus: Experience with LLMs/AI.
