Founding UI/UX Designer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Founding UX Designer to join our team and create the user experience and interface designs for our innovative new platform. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that will drive the development of our product. As a founding member of the team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the overall user experience and visual direction of our platform from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design process from research to high-fidelity prototypes for our platform, conducting user research and testing to validate solutions
• Create comprehensive design deliverables including wireframes, interactive prototypes, UI designs, and visual assets (icons, illustrations, animations)
• Build and maintain design system and component library, ensuring responsive layouts for cross-device experiences
• Transform complex requirements into intuitive, accessible experiences while maintaining compliance through collaboration with clinical experts
• Champion inclusive design principles and accessibility standards, incorporating user feedback and analytics for continuous improvement
• Partner with engineering team to ensure precise implementation of designs
• Collaborate with product management to align design solutions with business objectives

About You:

• 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably in the healthcare or SaaS technology industry
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design, and information architecture
• Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences
• Experience conducting user research, creating user personas, and mapping user journeys
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Passion for designing innovative solutions that can positively impact people's lives
• Experience designing for web, mobile, and other digital platforms
