Hardware & Firmware Engineer

We’re seeking a Hardware and Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team making state-of-the-art e-paper digital art frames.

Responsibilities:

• Production Optimization: Refine the design and manufacturing process of the current model’s main board.
• Firmware Development: Write production-ready firmware for the current model using ESP-IDF. All basic functionality already exists but it needs significant work in terms of features and performance optimization.
• Future Hardware Development: Design and prototype hardware for future models, likely based on ESP and STM32 platforms.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of hardware and firmware. Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.

Preferred Experience:

• Strong expertise with ESP-IDF and the ESP32/ESP8266 ecosystem.
• Experience with embedded C programming and ESP libraries.
• Experience with IoT products
• Familiarity with STM32 platforms.
• Experience in ultra-low-power design and managing complex power schemes.
• Knowledge of PCB design, signal integrity, and power management.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with optimizing hardware for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
