Fluxx is seeking a Solution Consultant who is excited about technology at a fast-paced venture-backed company. This role is a unique combination of sales and product knowledge and will report to our Director, Solutions as a part of the Go-To-Market team.
This is a full-time exempt and remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Configure Fluxx for sales demos for prospects and deliver a value-based pitch of the Fluxx platform
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Issue pricing, contracts, and statements of work to prospects
- Deliver targeted resources to prospects
- Lead discovery sessions with prospects to produce an accurate proof of concept and scope of work
- Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and provide sales support in the form of Q&A sessions, written responses, and demonstrations
- Learn the technical details concerning how our software works and what problems it solves for our customer
- Participate in meeting sales goals and quotas as set forth for the Go-To-Market team
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Think outside the box on how to solve prospect business cases
What you bring to the team/ About you:
- 2+ years of experience at a SaaS company
- 2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Solution Architecture
- Experience with the Fluxx Grantmaker platform, or other grants management software
- Philanthropic, Government, or Nonprofit experience required
- High level of presentation and/or public speaking ability
- Ability to synthesize business use cases to produce a succinct presentation for prospects
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Intellectually curious and technology / data-savvy
- Outstanding communication skills with a proven track record of creating solid relationships
- Experience handling contracts and statements of work
- Team player with the ability to work independently or partner to deliver timely and effective results
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Salary:
The expected annual base salary for this role is $110,000-$115,000. This position is eligible for target-based commissions. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
