The Administrative Business Partner (ABP) to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Fastly is a strategic partner who supports and optimizes the effectiveness of the CPO and the broader Product organization. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, playing a key part in stakeholder management and business operations to align with the CPO’s strategic initiatives and objectives. In a fast-paced, innovative environment, the ABP ensures seamless coordination and communication, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the Product division.

What You’ll Do as the Administrative Business Partner to the CPO:
- Core Administrative Management: Efficiently oversee a variety of administrative tasks, including managing the CPO’s calendar with precision, handling scheduling complexities, and ensuring optimal time management.
- Meeting Preparation: Organize and prepare meeting materials for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring agendas, supporting documents, notes, and Action Items/ follow-ups are complete and timely.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as the key contact point between the CPO, leadership team, and cross-functional teams, facilitating clear communication and prioritizing critical information throughout the product organization. Manage communication for product all-hands meetings and oversee Slack channels for the product organization, among other areas, ensuring that clear communication protocols are established and maintained across the org.
- Project Coordination: Assist with high-priority projects, coordinating timelines and ensuring that project milestones are met in alignment with the CPO’s strategic goals.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange complex international travel itineraries, ensuring the most efficient use of time and resources, while addressing any last-minute changes or issues.
- Expense Management: Manage expense reports with accuracy, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with budget policies.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes to enhance productivity and support seamless operations.
- Team Support: Contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Product leadership team by coordinating and driving invites for key meetings involving the CPO and Senior Staff, collaborating with other admins to ensure seamless logistics and workflow optimization. Additionally, assist with the preparation for quarterly product reviews and product-related events.
- Event Planning: Lead or assist in planning team off-sites, summits, and other strategic events involving the Product organization and cross-functional partners.

Work Hours:
- This position requires you to work during scheduled hours from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the work location's timezone. Due to the nature of the role and collaboration with executives and stakeholders across various time zones, flexibility in working hours, including occasional work outside of regular business hours, will be necessary.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
This position is based in our San Francisco, CA office. The role requires in-office presence 3-4 days a week.
This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $59.29/hour to 74.11/hour.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
