Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX designer who is excited to transform our products (Spectra, Drone Mission Ops) into something that would make users fall in love with its design. This designer should be able to understand the requirements and complexity and cut through all of it with a design that is both functional and appealing. An ideal UI/UX solution is immediately intuitive, blends into the background and allows the user to focus on his task.

Spectra: An integrated drone data platform to visualise enterprise worksites and perform AI-powered analytics that helps teams plan better, construct faster, and sustain longer.

Drone Mission Ops (DMO): A full-stack drone flight solution that enables drone service providers, pilots, and enterprises to execute fast, accurate, and seamless drone missions.

Responsibilities

Core Functions

1. Conduct user interviews and interpret data and qualitative feedback.
2. Define user personas and map their use cases to user flows.
3. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups (low & high fidelity) and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
4. Solve complex user problems through user interface design that span multiple form factors (Mobile, Tablet and Laptop).
5. Build and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
6. Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs with clarity.

Key Competencies/Skills

Mandatory Skills

1. A portfolio of design work for web and mobile platforms.
2. Working knowledge of tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zeplin.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Desired Skills

1. Knowledge of ISMS/ISO 27001.
2. Basic HTML/CSS working knowledge.
3. Experience with user feedback cycle through various strategies such as A/B testing, feedback interviews and polls.

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role with a demonstration of a good track record.
