Remote Contract Role: Android Developer

Origins AI is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, implementing, and optimizing mobile applications specifically for Android devices. You will work closely with the design team to ensure a smooth, responsive user experience and use best practices to create high-quality, scalable apps. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer passionate about Android to make a significant impact in a remote, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications with clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Implement mobile-first, user-friendly interfaces in alignment with the design team
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability across different Android devices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve app functionality and user experience
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Android Development and mobile-first design
• Proficiency with Java and/or Kotlin for Android app development
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• A keen eye for design, UX, and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote setting
• Prior experience in the AI or technology sector is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
