Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Webmaster to join our dynamic team. As a Webmaster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our clients' websites, ensuring seamless functionality, optimal performance, and a superior user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and content strategists to deliver exceptional digital experiences that drive results. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end web development, SEO best practices, and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
What you'll be doing:
- Website Management: Maintain and update websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility. This includes managing content updates, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing necessary fixes.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze website performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance site speed, optimize loading times, and improve overall user experience.
- SEO Implementation: Execute SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO improvements, to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic to websites.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect website integrity, including firewalls, secure authentication protocols, and regular security audits.
- Cross-Platform Compatibility: Conduct rigorous testing across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure seamless functionality and consistent user experience.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content strategists, to deliver integrated digital solutions. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Client Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing user complaints and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Continuously research and stay abreast of the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure websites remain cutting-edge and competitive.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end website development and hosting.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering web projects.
- Fluency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant programming languages.
- Proven experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Umbraco, WEM, Drupal, and SharePoint.
- Proficient in SEO tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other related software.
- Deep knowledge of metadata, robots.txt, and speed optimization techniques.
- Experience with server administration and database management.
- Familiarity with various web development frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
