Accountant Specialist

We're looking for a motivated and driven General Ledger Accountant who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepares and books monthly journal entries
• Provides financial/analytical support to various departments
• Participates in ERP roll-out of new countries
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements
• Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation
• Assist in various areas of financial reporting, month, quarter and year-end close, and/or other daily/monthly accounting processes
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• Solid knowledge in Accounting and Mexican VAT legislation
• Experience in IFRS and other areas of accounting (AR/AP/Cash management/Fixed Assets/Inventory)
• Accounting certification, e.g. CPA, ACCA, other
• Experience with a month end close process, reconciliations, and recording into an ERP
• Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input
• Ability to work under pressure and experience in transformation/transition
• System experience with ERP required, ORACLE Fusion as a plus
• Fluent in English
