Job Description:

As a Website Developer Intern at ELIFF Media, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence by building, managing, and optimizing our website and digital content systems. This position requires a strong understanding of web technologies, content management systems, and web design principles. You will work closely with our content, marketing, and tech teams to create a seamless and responsive web experience for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deploy and manage websites on platforms like Hostinger, WordPress, Webflow, and other CMS tools.
• Implement CMS functionalities using WordPress, creating and optimizing content/article/blog-based pages.
• Create custom WordPress themes and plugins to support our news feed, news pages, and article sections.
• Develop and integrate forms and dynamic features to capture user inquiries and feedback, with secure database or external storage integration.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile optimization for all web pages.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance website functionality and performance as required.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and digital media technologies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and other CMS tools (e.g., Webflow, Hostinger).
• Ability to design, code, and implement dynamic forms with secure data handling and storage.
• Knowledge of WordPress plugins for CMS functionality, specifically in news and content management.
• Experience creating websites optimized for performance and user experience.
• Familiarity with hosting and deployment practices, including basic troubleshooting and site management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional CMS systems and web hosting platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for web pages.
• Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for database integration.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for web design.
• Knowledge of content delivery networks (CDNs) and performance optimization tools.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must include a portfolio or link to their work showcasing past web development projects. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
