Location: Future opportunities may be remote within the US, or hybrid in one of our covered states. Candidates must be based in the US to be considered.
Job Summary:
As a Title Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the title and escrow teams are supported through inbound calls, post-close work, and general support of the business. You'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining efficient processes and handling incoming calls from borrowers and sellers. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders will contribute to the smooth execution of supporting activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies to customers.
Assist customers in resolving issues or complaints, aiming for a satisfactory resolution.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall performance.
Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Research and understand recording requirements to ensure compliance.
Prepare loan documents for recording and coordinate with external parties.
Monitor the progress of recorded documents and address any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of recording activities.
Assist in the development of post-closing recording processes.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in legal studies or real estate preferred.
Previous experience in post-closing, loan processing, or title work.
Familiarity with legal documents related to real estate transactions.
Knowledge of recording requirements and regulations.
Proficient in using document management systems and Google Suite.
