Location: Future opportunities may be remote within the US, or hybrid in one of our covered states. Candidates must be based in the US to be considered.
Job Summary:
As an Escrow Officer at One Real Title, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating smooth transactions by overseeing the closing process. From managing escrow accounts to ensuring compliance with regulations, your attention to detail and communication skills will be essential for success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage escrow transactions from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the closing process.
Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and legal documents to identify any issues that may affect the transaction.
Coordinate with various parties, including title examiners, attorneys, and insurance companies, to resolve title issues.
Prepare closing documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Conduct closings in accordance with state regulations and company policies, addressing any questions or concerns from parties involved.
Oversee the disbursement of funds and the recording of documents after closing.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each transaction, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to escrow and title services.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office and escrow management systems, Doubletime or Qualia experience a plus.
Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate a plus
3+ years experience in escrow, title services, and real estate transactions
Active Escrow Officer license may be required pending location
