We are looking for an Associate FP&A Manager to help us drive financial planning, budgeting, business modeling, and strategic projects for Bolt Delivery, focusing on the Grocery business unit (Dark store and 3P Partners delivery).

About the role
Bolt Delivery launched in August 2019 and now operates in 16 countries and 130+ cities in Europe & Africa. The business unit includes restaurant delivery and grocery delivery.
In this role, you will contribute to one of the most critical teams within the Bolt Delivery organization. You will be responsible for financial planning and budgeting, efficiency analysis, business modeling and strategic projects within the Grocery business unit, focusing on Dark store and 3P Partners delivery.
You will be a strategic partner to HQ, regional, and cross-functional teams, supporting them with actual performance reviews, efficiency insights, financial planning, and strategic guidance on business growth, financials, P&L, and various improvements. This role requires excellent communication skills to work with tens of country teams on a regular basis, strong business judgment, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving interpersonal skills combined with solid corporate finance knowledge and financial modeling skills.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the annual & quarterly budgeting process and monthly forecasting, developing and maintaining financial models in collaboration with functional and local stakeholders.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing variances vs expectations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and update regular reporting materials.
- Perform ad-hoc financial and industry-related analyses to uphold strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of management reporting by collaborating with the Controlling team.
About you:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, business valuation (e.g., Big-4), financial planning & analysis, experience in internal finance in the retail sector is an advantage.
- You have strong expertise in financial and business modeling, as well as budgeting tools, with proficiency in G-Sheets, Excel, and basic knowledge of SQL and BI/data visualization tools being advantageous.
- You are able to understand complex business ecosystems and develop high-end financial and operational models, coupled with excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- You have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, with flexibility to adapt to pressing deadlines in a dynamic tech environment.
- You are an effective collaborator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a basic level of project management abilities, able to drive aspects of projects across diverse business domains.
- You are fluent in English.
