Job Description:
As a freelance Academic Expert at IvyPanda, you will work on a variety of projects that require in-depth scientific knowledge, clear and accurate explanations, and attention to detail. Projects may include providing tutoring support, creating study materials, conducting research, and assisting students with complex concepts and coursework. This role is ideal for experienced science graduates who are passionate about education and enjoy helping students learn.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and provide expert-level explanations on various science topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
• Assist in developing and reviewing academic resources, study guides, and course materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Offer one-on-one tutoring and support to students seeking help with scientific concepts, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Ensure all content is factual, well-researched, and presented in a way that meets academic standards.
• Adapt scientific explanations and resources to be understandable for students at different educational levels.
• Provide feedback and suggestions on existing resources to improve quality and educational value.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science).
• Proven experience in academic writing, tutoring, or creating educational resources.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with academic standards in scientific writing.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage project deadlines independently.
• Experience with remote or freelance work is a plus.
