About the job
PLEASE NOTE: This position is hiring ONLY applicants with significant experience in the life sciences (as demonstrated by a graduate degree and/or significant extracurricular, internship, or professional experience). We define “life sciences” broadly, with preference given to those with experience in genomics, bioinformatics, molecular diagnostics, or related fields.
Role Summary
DeciBio Analytics’ DxBooks division is seeking a multi-talented Associate Product Manager passionate about the life sciences. This position can be based either remotely or in our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York offices, and is hiring for an early 2025 start date.
In this role, you will support the scale-up and growth of a data product that is already used by industry leaders but still has plenty of room to grow, giving you an opportunity to leave your mark. This position combines the best of the consulting and product worlds: consulting’s numerous learning opportunities and strong client relationships, with the ownership and long-term investment of managing a data product.
This is a role for someone who can hunt down a data error with a magnifying glass and simultaneously take the 10,000-foot view necessary to advise a client about diagnostics trends. On the side, you’ll collaborate with sales and marketing, develop Tableau and data management pipelines, read the latest clinical diagnostics updates, provide strategic advisory services to clients, and carve your own path within a friendly and collaborative team.
