Job Overview:
As a Spanish Community Intern for Airlearn, you will be responsible for hosting in-person Spanish language learning events in your area. Your primary role will be to create an engaging, interactive, and immersive environment where participants can learn Spanish while having fun. You’ll guide participants through the basics, intermediate, or advanced levels as needed, introduce them to the Airlearn app, and highlight how it can aid their language journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Hosting: Organize and facilitate interactive, engaging, and structured Spanish language learning sessions. Tailor the sessions to fit beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners as needed.
- Audience Engagement: Ensure all participants feel included, motivated, and excited about learning Spanish. Use creative and engaging activities to make the event lively and memorable.
- App Promotion: Educate participants on how to use the Airlearn app to enhance their language learning, emphasizing its unique features, including offline support. Encourage participants to download and explore the app.
- Feedback Collection: Gather insights and feedback from participants on their learning experience and the app’s usability. Share these insights with the Airlearn team for continuous improvement.
- Report & Communicate: Maintain regular communication with the Airlearn team, providing updates on event progress, audience feedback, and any challenges faced.
Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Spanish (C1 or above). Ability to simplify complex concepts for different levels of learners.
- Teaching/Facilitation Skills: Prior experience in language teaching or event hosting is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others learn.
- Event Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage event logistics and ensure smooth execution.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps, with the ability to guide participants in navigating the Airlearn app.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and energetic, with the ability to connect with a diverse group of people.
- Reliability: Punctual and professional, with a commitment to delivering a high-quality event experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: Upto 10 hours per week
