GL Accountant

As a GL Accountant you will be part of our global Finance team in Suitsupply’s HQ in Amsterdam. Together with the GL team your responsibilities include GL accounting for all Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold, Payroll and the Travel & Expense flows of Suitsupply. Furthermore, you perform day-to-day work and the month end closing in an accurate and timely manner. Besides the daily routines, there is a strong focus on improving processes. We are looking for a young self-starter who is detailed but can also take a step back to understand overall figures and processes. The GL Accountant is a position in which you can grow based on your own drive and ambition.

What you'll do:

• Settlement of all cash receipts with sales (100+ stores)
• Communication with stores in case of cash discrepancies
• Preparation and posting Payroll journal entries
• Reconciling and monitoring multiple clearing accounts with proper specifications
• Prepare and record monthly accruals
• Supporting the Rent Accounting processes
• Optimizing existing (business and/or accounting) processes
• Dealing with (accounting) process queries from the business
• Ad-hoc projects

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and/or Financial control;
• 3-5 years of working experience in a similar position
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and personality
• Naturally curious, team player, hands-on and analytical
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills (oral and written)
