The Givens Estates is hiring a full-time Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services/Housekeeping team. We're seeking a person that is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn. The primary purpose of your position is to support the independent residents' health and well-being by ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the residents apartments, homes, rooms as well as common areas by performing various routine cleaning and light maintenance procedures, observing universal precautions, and maintaining a trustworthy relationship with residents and staff.

Hours & Availability: The schedule is Monday thru Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm & every other weekend.

What you'll do:

• Maintain high levels of facility cleanliness by ensuring that residences, common areas, administrative areas are well-maintained by following assignments for cleaning the floors
• Participate in department team by attending meetings, providing input, active participation, and support of other department teams on campus
• Ensure that all floors are swept, mopped, vacuumed, stripped, waxed, buffed, and steam clean on a regular scheduled basis
• Be conscious of all safety rules and practices and endeavor to create a safe environment for staff and residents
• Actively participate and accept personal responsibility to ensure the success of the Corporate Compliance Program
• Follows the established safety regulations, to include fire protection/prevention, infection control, etc.
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures
• Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
• Maintain good personnel relations and employee morale
• Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of residential homes, common areas, and health service areas.

Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
