Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a startup environment, has a keen eye for design, and is eager to build engaging and user-friendly interfaces. As a Frontend Engineer at BrandCollab, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our platform.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX Development: Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces that provide an intuitive and engaging user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements and mockups into fully functional features.
• Component Development: Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of web applications and perform debugging as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain and improve documentation for frontend processes and systems.
• User Feedback Integration: Incorporate user feedback and testing results to improve the platform continually.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role, preferably in a startup environment.
• Languages: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Frameworks: Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as Next.js, Nest.js. React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• State Management: Knowledge of state management tools like Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Responsive Design: Experience in building responsive and adaptive designs using frameworks like Bootstrap or Material-UI.
• APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Tooling: Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or similar.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Design Tools: Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Testing Tools: Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• User-Centric Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
