Role Overview

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features for Halfgram’s mobile and web applications. Working closely with design and backend teams, you’ll create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive, high-performance frontend components
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate mockups into functional interfaces
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user engagement
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Ensure UI/UX consistency across different devices and platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React/React Native, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience building mobile or web applications
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Halfgram user (We strongly prefer candidates who are familiar with our community and understand our mission firsthand)
• Experience with design systems and UI libraries
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and debugging tools
• Passionate about user-centered design and enhancing user experience
