Frontend JS Engineer (React)

Overview:
We are a dynamic and innovative company of around 20 people spread across three countries, aiming to disrupt the way products are engineered and manufactured. As we grow we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team. We have a startup-focused mindset and culture, so strong communication skills and passion are important!

You're going to take over a good chunk of frontend work. Read: You will need strong daily commit experience in React. We are looking for candidates that love making new features that customers enjoy using to make their work faster and less stressful.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain great web experiences javascript / React.js
• Have a big say in design to ensure that customer requirements are translated into easy to build and maintain features
• Draft design with Customer Success and pick final implementation to execute clearly and quickly
• Help our product improve in speed, clarity and usability

Must Have:

• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (esp React)
• A strong understanding of REST and other API patterns
• Strong understanding of web accessibility principles, patterns, and testing
• A passion for UI/UX and the ability to visualise products from an end users’ perspective
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrable local development experience using Docker containers
• JavaScript testing experience
• Worked on fronted code for highly composable, reusable components
• Experience building, optimising, and maintaining websites with high traffic and performance demands
• Proactive communication skills (asks the right questions, makes the right suggestions, and can explain thoughts clearly)

Nice to Have:

• A natural level of curiosity about 3D printing, manufacturing, the industry
• Any combination of 3D printing, robotics, 3D modelling, or CAD experience
• Demonstrable design experience - UX/UI
• Start-up or similar experience, where you can see an impact of good decisions on the daily

Note:
If applicants are based in the UK they must be able to travel to the London office on a semi-regular basis (one day every 2-3 weeks).
