Join our team of passionate researchers and engineers from CMU, IITs and IIITs specialized in generative AI modeling and deep learning. We are in the process of creating a groundbreaking AI learning platform and are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Software/Moodle Engineer to help develop and expand our platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project and contribute to the development and enhancement of our learning platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, customize, and implement a responsive and effective LMS systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure the effective integration of learning materials, courses, and assessments into the Moodle platform.
- Configure and customize Moodle platform to facilitate integration of new content, ensuring compatibility with existing systems, applications, and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system reliability, security and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in e-learning and Moodle development to continuously improve the platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Min 1 year experience in integrating and configuring Moodle Workplace in large-scale environments, preferably in an enterprise setting.
- Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in customizing Moodle Workplace themes, templates, and plugins.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and server infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, MySQL, and Apache servers.
- Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Bonus:
- Relevant certifications such as Moodle Certified Integration Specialist or Moodle Certified Administrator are highly desirable.
