YOUR ROLE
The Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Director, Finance on the overall financial management of the agency. This includes but is not limited to maintaining complete and accurate files, executing financial reporting, billing of fees and monitoring out of pocket expenses.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build effective relationships with client teams to ensure delivery of desired results
- Lead weekly financial meetings and work with client teams to review job detail/tracking and conduct financial reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze client portfolio to ensure accounts remain profitable
- Produce high quality, accurate and timely reporting for clients
- Manage execution of client invoicing according to contracted billing agreements
- Maintain revenue tracker with recognition calculations for monthly close
- Manage A/R reporting and follow-up on outstanding receivables
- Facilitate processing and payment of vendor invoicing
- Maintain electronic job jacket files with appropriate support documentation
- Assist with internal and external audits, as required
- Assist with time compliance and maintenance
- Provide ad hoc reporting as needed based on the evolving needs of the department and agency
- Oversee and support growth/development of Finance Analyst
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ finance experience
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and building of spreadsheets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and other MS Office Suite applications
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Motivated individual who likes challenges and can work well with others
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a face-paced environment
- Experience with Peoplesoft, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Hyperion/HFM a plus

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
