Position Overview:
We are looking for a Software Sales Representative who is excited to play a pivotal role in driving revenue and growth for our startup. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is driven by the potential for long-term financial success through generous commission of realized sales revenue. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and closing deals with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and Identify Leads: Research and generate new leads through various channels (e.g., networking, cold-calling, email outreach, etc.).
• Build Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their pain points and demonstrating how our software solutions can meet their needs.
• Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate and Close Deals: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, including contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and meet client expectations.
• Meet Sales Targets: Drive consistent sales growth to help achieve the company’s revenue goals.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in B2B software sales or SaaS sales.
• Strong understanding of software products and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Results-driven and highly motivated to succeed.
• Comfortable with commission and equity-based compensation models.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
