What You’ll Do:

• Lead mobile development: Own the mobile app architecture, designing and building a high-performance, scalable mobile experience using React Native. You’ll be responsible for structuring core components, managing complex state logic, and ensuring the app is modular, maintainable, and optimized for performance across both iOS and Android platforms. You’ll push the boundaries of React Native to deliver an app that is reliable, and easy to use, while focusing on scalability and smooth performance.

• Engineer for efficiency and scale: Develop a mobile application that dynamically adapts to customer-specific configurations set in our web platform. You’ll manage complex logic, conditional flows, and data dependencies to ensure the mobile app’s features align seamlessly with web-based settings, delivering an intuitive, tailored experience that reflects each customer's unique configurations.

• Own code quality and speed: We’re looking for a developer who consistently delivers high-quality code, executing at speed without sacrificing attention to detail across every aspect of the user interface and user experience. You’ll absorb complex requirements with ease, estimate efforts, prioritize tasks, plan implementations, and triage production issues as they arise, keeping the team on track and minimizing rework.

• Shape foundational technology for launch: Join us just months before our product launch, where you’ll be instrumental in shaping our patent-pending technology for the mobile market. Instead of managing tech debt, you’ll set a high-performance foundation that will evolve and grow, driving the mobile app’s direction and making a lasting impact.

Skills and Experience:

• Senior-Level React Native Expertise: 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with 3+ years specifically in React Native, building cross-platform applications for iOS and Android. Deep understanding of React Native architecture, components, navigation, animations, and state management.

• Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript: 7+ years of JavaScript experience, with 2+ years using TypeScript for type-safe, maintainable development in mobile applications.

• Mobile API Integration and Performance Optimization: 5+ years of experience designing and optimizing RESTful and GraphQL APIs within mobile applications. Expertise in optimizing performance, memory usage, and ensuring smooth user interactions on mobile devices.

• UI/UX Mastery for Mobile: Proven ability to build visually polished, responsive, and accessible user interfaces. Mastery in handling touch interactions, animations, and transitions to create a seamless and enjoyable mobile experience.

• Testing, CI/CD, and DevOps Knowledge: 3+ years of experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, Detox), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices for mobile applications.

• Education: BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science
