Senior Product Manager

Prepfully is a career coaching and interview prep startup. Your responsibility will be to build out new products and grow existing products through which we can maximize value for candidates. Your initial focus will specifically be on scaling up the reach, engagement and monetization of Prepfully's content products (interview guides, question banks, recorded sessions).

The ideal candidate

• Will have successfully built out a new product from scratch, or rapidly scaled up an existing one across a business-first metric. You'll be asked to talk through your thought process, tactics you tried, success metrics, what you thought went well + what you'd do differently in quite some depth.
• Is super scrappy and hands-on. You'll go well beyond stereotypical product tasks - in this sence you actually ARE going to be the CEO of your products; and will be responsible for thinking of how the entire ecosystem works beyond purely hte product experience (so think Ops, customer service, financials, marketing etc) - iterating relentlessly until you figure out the path to growth.
• Has some past experience in ed-tech and SEO. Ed-tech because we're one. SEO because it's ridiculously good ROI long-term; and we rely on it quite a bit.

For clarity: 1 and 2 are must-haves. 3 is a nice-to-have - you'll learn this once you join.

Here's what the interview process will look like

• Once you apply, I'll ask you to share an example of what you've worked on over Wellfound. Please share a 1-2 pager on one core product or functionality you manage, alongside whatever you think demonstrates your competence in managing it. You're more than welcome to anonymize / mask whatever's needed to avoid falling afoul of any contract / NDA
• If we like what you share, we'll have a short chat to discuss your motivations (i.e. what you'd like to get out this role), and your skills + fit for Prepfully's needs.
• The last step will be a 1-2 hour workshop in which you'll have a bunch of discussions + brainstorms on real-world problems we face with our PMs and engineers. Solving them is not the goal; we'll be trying to get a sense of how you approach these conversations, and we want you to judge us on how it would be like to work with us too.
