We are looking for an energetic Business Development Manager to generate and nurture sales leads for our elite sports products. Working as part of the Sales team but closely with Marketing and Sport Science Consulting, you will develop new business leads by a mix of warm and cold calling.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target markets, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Business Strategy: Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and attendance at industry events and conferences. Sustainable maintenance of all relevant customer information using a CRM tool (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers in sports organizations, leagues, teams, and federations.
- Solution Selling: Understand the unique needs and challenges of sports organizations and effectively communicate how Kinexon Sports' technology and solutions can address these needs.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Negotiation and Closure: Lead negotiations with clients, manage the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, and ensure successful deal closure.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Feedback and Insights: Gather feedback from clients and market insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to drive coordinated efforts and achieve business objectives.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You...
- love sports and are knowledgeable in variable team sports and respective leagues in the EMEA region
- ideally have a degree in sports science or a similar subject
- are a resilient, persistent, and driven person
- are hungry to meet and exceed the company and individual targets
- are a highly communicative person that loves to talk to prospects on video, phone, via e-mail or face-to-face
- understand our goal is to exceed monthly quotas as a whole team, and are interested in celebrating our successes along the way
- have some previous sales, business development or lead generation experience (as a plus)
