Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Lead the design and implementation of scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Architecture & Design: Make critical architectural decisions to ensure platform scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Database Management: Design and optimize databases using MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Mobile Application Development: Develop and maintain the backend services required for mobile applications using React Native, ensuring seamless data flow between the mobile app and the server.
• Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance platform functionality.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve server performance, user experience, and code efficiency.
• DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes to enhance development efficiency and reliability.
• Infrastructure Management: Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Security: Implement robust security measures to protect user data and maintain platform integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience with strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Skills: Expertise in backend development with a solid understanding of JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle challenges independently without constant guidance.
• Passion for EdTech: Genuine interest in education technology with a desire to make an impact.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
