Job Description Summary
As an Enterprise Architect at Fortellar, you will be responsible for leading our client organization's IT architecture strategy and ensuring that the technology infrastructure and software development practices support and drive the business’ strategic goals. With a deep understanding of both the technical and business sides of the company, you will design and implement architectures that enable new operating models, leveraging your expertise in CI/CD processes to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
At the end of the day, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the enterprise architecture of the overall ecosystem of our client’s organization to ensure that it supports the business goals and strategic objectives and enables the organization to achieve its strategic objectives.
You will be a driver in the critical transformation of a large healthcare company resulting in cost savings, workflow efficiencies, and significant innovation leveling-up.
Experience Must Haves
- 7+ years as lead architect in the healthcare payer space.
- Led the implementation of new systems and technologies ensure they meet the organization's needs.
- Experience leading the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks and models for a new business operating model.
- Experience building AI & Automation into architectures foundation and roadmap.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with business leaders, becoming a recognized expert in the organization’s business processes and requirements and ensuring the IT strategy aligns with the overall business goals.
- Designed and architected solutions that successfully supported new business operating models, incorporating modern technologies and frameworks to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Led the design, development, and implementation of enterprise architecture roadmaps.
- Implemented and managed CI/CD pipelines for software development, ensuring seamless, automated processes for integration and deployment.
- Evaluated and recommended new technologies and solutions that can enhance the enterprise architecture.
- Monitored the performance of the enterprise architecture and identified areas for improvement.
- Developed and maintained documentation for the enterprise architecture.
Experience Should Haves
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or another relevant field or combined equivalent of on-the-job experience.
- Relevant experience with cloud architecture (AWS and Azure), healthcare payer solutions (Ex. Facets), enterprise integration tools and services, security architecture best practices, and able to quickly code-up a POC if needed.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in a product-led, agile environment.
- Experience in both start-up and enterprise level organizations.
- Experience leading and participating in successful global transformation(s).
- Implemented and managed CI/CD pipelines for software development, ensuring seamless, automated processes for integration and deployment.
- Active process for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Mentored and guided junior architects and developers.
- It goes without saying, but we will say it anyway…You must be a master communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for diverse stakeholders.
