Responsibilities
· Project Planning and Coordination: Design, plan, and coordinate work teams following industry-standard project management practices, particularly the PMI framework.

· Project Charter Creation: Develop project charters and work plans, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

· Budget and Schedule Tracking: Monitor budget and schedule progress using appropriate metrics to ensure project adherence.

· Risk Management: Identify project risks, document them, and develop effective mitigation plans.

· Scope Management: Manage project scope, ensuring that changes are documented and communicated effectively.

· Team Building and Task Assignment: Build an effective project team, assign tasks, and evaluate team members' outcomes.

· Stakeholder Communication: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to keep stakeholders and project sponsors informed.

· Issue Resolution: Identify and track issues, ensuring prompt resolution and removal of project barriers.

· Technical Support and Oversight: Provide technical guidance to project team members and oversee complex application features and technical designs.

· Reporting and Performance Management: Prepare and present regular status reports to upper management, ensuring that project performance meets established objectives.

Requested experience:

• 5 years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than $5 million.

• 5 years Agile Leadership Experience (document in resume)

• 10 years of experience as a project manager (must be last position)

• 2 years Microsoft DevOps Experience

• Microsoft DevOps Experience

• Experience working with other project managers to ensure technology integration between systems

• Must be local to Lansing, Michigan area. Work will be 2 days per week in office and 3 days remote.

• Previous SOM experience highly desired
