We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst - Product to join our dynamic Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights into product performance, user behavior, and feature adoption to drive product development and growth. You will work closely with product teams to help shape data-driven decisions, ensuring that product roadmaps are aligned with customer needs and business goals. As a Data Analyst - Product you will be part of an agile team of web analysts within our ecommerce department. Your role will involve working on a variety of projects—from large-scale initiatives to smaller projects and ad hoc analyses—ensuring quick turnaround times, to meet the rapid pace of ecommerce decision-making.
What you will do:
- Analyze user behavior, feature engagement, and product metrics to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for optimization. Perform deep-dive analyses to assess feature adoption and the overall user journey.
- Collaborate with product managers and Business Analysts to provide data-driven recommendations for new features and product improvements. Evaluate the impact of product changes on key business outcomes.
- Design, implement, and update dashboards, reports, and KPIs to systematically track product performance, user behavior, and feature engagement. Ensure that results are easily accessible and provide meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers and data teams to ensure accurate and complete data collection from product interactions, ensuring high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Proactively take responsibility for project outcomes, team performance, and data insights, demonstrating accountability and driving continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex data insights clearly to (non-technical) audiences, collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, and build strong relationships across the organization.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in web analytics, preferably within the ecommerce retail (fashion) industry.
- Deep understanding of LookML, SQL, data integrations, and ETL processes, with a proven ability to create accurate data models and insightful visualizations that meet business needs.
- Strong proficiency in integrating data from multiple sources into a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and leveraging Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery and GA4.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data insights to diverse stakeholders and document processes clearly.
- A collaborative mindset, demonstrated teamwork capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a user-centric approach in all data-related initiatives.
