Ocean Freight Analyst

We value autonomy, curiosity, and having a good time. We’re seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the Ocean Freight Analyst role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to help define optimal standards for cutting edge visibility in container import/export operations
• Analyze container freight data anomalies to train automated systems
• Work closely with the product team to enhance how data is structured and utilized
• Educate customers on container freight data, operational milestones, and track-and-trace processes, responding to requests and resolving data-related inquiries
• Provide input to the product team, offering insights and recommendations based on freight operations expertise to improve the platform
• Support internal teams (Customer Success, Sales, Product) by troubleshooting and resolving freight data issues
• Generate and maintain reports on freight data performance, accuracy, and operational improvements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ocean import/export operations with a deep understanding of track-and-trace data and operational milestones
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve freight data issues
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external customers
• Strong expertise in data interpretation and process improvement within the ocean freight sector
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
