We value autonomy, curiosity, and having a good time. We’re seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the Ocean Freight Analyst role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to help define optimal standards for cutting edge visibility in container import/export operations
- Analyze container freight data anomalies to train automated systems
- Work closely with the product team to enhance how data is structured and utilized
- Educate customers on container freight data, operational milestones, and track-and-trace processes, responding to requests and resolving data-related inquiries
- Provide input to the product team, offering insights and recommendations based on freight operations expertise to improve the platform
- Support internal teams (Customer Success, Sales, Product) by troubleshooting and resolving freight data issues
- Generate and maintain reports on freight data performance, accuracy, and operational improvements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ocean import/export operations with a deep understanding of track-and-trace data and operational milestones
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve freight data issues
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external customers
- Strong expertise in data interpretation and process improvement within the ocean freight sector
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
